Pumpkin Spice Up Your Life!

Y'all, I'm as basic as they come. This fall I'm leaning haaard into everything pumpkin spice (again). I'm also a cheap betch. Check out some of my favorite affordable pumpkin spice inspired items.

All the Pumpkin Creamers

Last year I did a taste test of four different pumpkin spice coffee creamers. Check out the really goofy video here. I liked them all, but the Aldi house brand takes the cake! It's the second from the left - Barissimo Coffee. And it's the least expensive at $2.69 - hurrah!

Pumpkin Scented Hand Soap

This Softsoap from Walmart is super affordable - around $1.20 - and smells delicious. It makes me excited to wash my hands. I also bought the Red Apple scent which is heavenly, too.

Adorable AF PSL Kitchen Sponges

You guys - look at these things. I found them in the Aldi Aisle of Shame. It's a two pack of Joie sponges for $1.99! For that price they are surprisingly well-made and durable. Right now Aldi also carries Joie sponge sets in these designs: turkeys, pumpkins, acorns, sunflowers, and apples. I've always been drawn to Joie products because they're just so damn cute and whimsical. Nothing lasts for long at Aldi so get yourself there stat.

Pumpkin Loaf Pan

This loaf pan is the most expensive thing on the list but well worth it, IMO. It's the Nordic Ware Wheat & Pumpkin Cast Loaf Pan. Find it here on Amazon. Do yourself a favor and buy a can of Baker's Joy while you're at it - it's a no-stick flour baking spray and works great with Nordic Ware products. My annual contribution to Thanksgiving dinner is pumpkin bread and it looks so festive when baked in this baby.

Pumpkin Spice & Vanilla Chai Lotion

I've always been a big fan of Hempz lotions - they smell so good, sink into the skin quickly, and don't leave me feeling greasy like some other lotions. It's rumored that Hempz also keeps away mosquitoes. Don't quote me on that - I don't know if it's true, but I'd like it to be.

This Pumpkin Spice & Vanilla Chai scent is next level delicious. This 17 ounce bottle retails for $24.99 at Ulta but I got mine for $14.99 with a $10 off coupon. TJ Maxx and Marshalls sometimes carries Hempz products - you may find it there for much less.

This Pumpkin Potpourri Sachet

Yesterday afternoon I sashayed (see what I did there?!) into Hobby Lobby and was hit by a wall of delicious pumpkin smells. I'm guessing some would say it was overpowering but I thought it was magical. I immediately sniffed out its source and found these babies. Only $1.19 (originally $1.99 with 40% off all fall items)! Now it lives in my car and drowns out the lingering scent of spilled milk in my backseat. But that's a story for another time...

Pumpkin Fabric

This poor dog. I'm teaching myself how to sew and I've been on a dog bandana roll. Vincenzo, our shih tzu / bichon frise mix, is my prototype model. Here he is, annoyed with me, for sewing him yet another pumpkin patterned bandana. It's the fall, Vinny. Get over it. Hobby Lobby is literally one mile down the street from my house so it's too easy to swing by there on the daily to pick up another kind of autumn fabric (quilting cotton priced $5.99-$7.99 per yard). Plus it's all 40% off right now. Cheap AF.

Come back often as I discover and purchase additional pumpkin spice treasures. Do you have any recommendations for me? Drop me a message if you're a basic pumpkin betch, too.
